Twitter Spaces offers a Clubhouse-like service
New features are coming for Spaces, Twitter’s voice chat service, which has been in the testing phase since November 2020 and opened to everyone last week. Finally, the limits for the new service offered to accounts with at least 600 followers were completely removed and the new feature was offered to all iOS / Android users.
In the last month, Twitter has kept its promise, stating that it will bring the feature of recording in voice chat channels in the near future. In the statement made by the company; It was stated that Twitter Spaces Beta users will be able to record the conversation by pressing the Record Space button and then share the broadcast replay. Only Chat Room founders will have access to this feature.
How to open a room in Twitter Spaces?
Twitter’s new service Spaces has been launched under the name Chat Room for those who use the application in Turkish. To create a Chat Room, all you need to do is open the application with your iOS and Android device, then press and hold the Add Tweet button in the lower right corner and click on the purple Chat Room logo. At this stage, after giving your room a name, you can click on the Share via Tweet button and start chatting.
In the statement made by Twitter, it has been confirmed that the broadcast replay feature is currently being tested with a limited audience. This new feature will be available to all Android and iOS users soon. No official statement has been made yet about the web version of Twitter Spaces.
