A Presidential Decision in today’s issue of the Official Gazette includes a decision regarding healthcare workers who are trying to serve by putting their lives in their teeth during the coronavirus pandemic. According to the decision taken, the free public transportation rights of health workers have been extended for a while.
According to the new decision regarding healthcare professionals, all healthcare personnel working in the private or public sector will be able to use public transportation free of charge until January 1, 2022. The right to free public transportation, which was received in the early stages of the pandemic, has been extended for a while with the new Presidential Decision.
The President’s Decision published in the Official Gazette is as follows;
The following statements are included in the President’s Decision;
“PROVISIONAL ARTICLE 86- Within the scope of measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic disease, personnel working in all public and private health institutions and organizations providing health services;
- In benefiting from public transportation services provided by municipalities and their affiliates and their unions, establishments, businesses and companies, provided that a decision is made by the relevant municipality,
- It is exempt from the provision of the first paragraph of Article 1 of the Law dated 8/1/2002 and numbered 4736, until 31/12/2021 (including this date), in benefiting from Başkentray, Marmaray and Izban flights. “
