Yuzo Kano, the former CEO of the famous crypto exchange bitFlyer, wants to become the CEO of the company in the coming period.
Kano, the former founder of the Japan-based crypto exchange, announced his resignation from the CEO position three years ago. Kano stated that he will make a statement for the CEO position at the meetings that will take place next month in order to return bitFlyer to its active days. Kano, who had an important place in the bitFlyer crypto exchange in the previous period, continued to have a large say in the company after the resignation process.

In the light of reports published by Bloomberg on February 26, Kano announced his resignation in 2019 due to internal disagreements. In his recent statements, Kano particularly referred to “bringing life to bitFlyer as in the previous process and engaging in development activities.”
Kano talked about his plans for the company in line with the interviews he gave. Primarily, Kano, who wants to return to his former position on bitFlyer, added that he aims to “bring stablecoins, create an issuance operation for tokens and make changes on the blockchain”.
Kano, who still owns a 40 percent stake in bitFlyer after his resignation, emphasized that BitFlyer did not offer innovative services after resigning from his position as CEO.
