As we mentioned in our previous news, the related CAD designs of the iPhone 15 series appeared a while ago. However, now render images based on these CAD data have also been shared. The render images, which are said to belong to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, clearly show us the buttonless design of the device.

Introducing the iPhone 15 Pro Max

As it will be remembered, it was said that the iPhone 15 Pro family will switch to capacitive solid state (like the home button on iPhone 7/8) touch keys instead of physical keys. Various leaks we have seen in the last few days also confirm this information. Apparently, and according to what is stated, all of the volume up and down keys, including the power key, will be touch-sensitive in the iPhone 15 Pro family. Also, the overall design of the 15 Pro Max seems to be more oval. This will allow the phone to fit more comfortably in the palm.

iPhone 15 Pro Max vs iPhone 14 Pro Max

DH iPhone 15 Pro Max iPhone 14 Pro Max Change
Length 159.86mm 160.7mm -0.84mm
Width 76.73mm 77.6mm -0.87mm
Thickness 8.25mm 7.85mm +0.4mm
camera bump 3.59 m 4.18mm -0.59mm
Thickness including camera 11.84mm 12.03mm -0.19mm

According to the images shared by “Ice Universe”, which shared accurate information about Apple’s plans in the past, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a thinner screen frame than the previous generation. While it is seen that the Dynamic Island feature continues, it is stated that the camera bump is less than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

When we look at the shared dimensions, we see that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a more compact design than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. In addition, it is stated in the visuals that it will once again switch to the Type C port instead of the old Lightning. Although the Type C port is common to all smartphones, obviously the iPhone 15 series is not expected to be compatible with all cables. Apple may use a different standardization for the specific Type C port.
