The most logical new iPhone to be bought towards the end of the year may be the cheapest iPhone 15 option. The iPhone 15 is expected to have the same Dynamic Island area as the iPhone 14 Pro. Just as the base iPhone 14 is a cheaper iPhone 13 Pro, the iPhone 15 can be predicted to be a cheaper variant of the iPhone 14 Pro.

While leaks and rumors cannot be confirmed, many iPhone 15 reports and leaks point to the same thing. All of this culminated with the leaking of CAD designs. First, iPhone 15 Pro images based on CAD files appeared. Now we have images showing the standard iPhone 15 variant based on CAD images. These images seem to confirm that the notch that Apple has used since the iPhone X will disappear this year.

The CAD files show that the base iPhone 15 model will have a 6.2-inch display, which is slightly larger than the current 6.1-inch panel. The reason for the screen’s enlargement may be related to the bezels that have shrunk compared to the iPhone 14 model. Another possibility with the size change is the screen design. Apple will use 2.5D glass in iPhone 15 models. That is, the screen will have a slight curvature. Also, all new phones are expected to have Dynamic Island, even if the CAD files are not correct.

At the bottom of the phone is a USB-C port. This stands out as another design change coming to the four iPhone 15 models. Although Apple does not want to give up the Lightning connection, it is now mandatory to switch to USB-C due to EU provisions.

There’s a dual-lens camera on the back, and there are rumors claiming that the iPhone 14 Pro’s large 48-megapixel camera will be coming to the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus.

Finally, the iPhone 15 CAD files show the presence of physical buttons on the sides. It was claimed that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will have touch buttons.

Regardless of the CAD images, 9to5Mac has also released photos that are said to show an iPhone 15 prototype. And these images paint an image similar to the CAD drawings you see above.
