Realme, a sub-brand of Chinese phone maker Oppo, may be the first Android OEM to clone Apple’s Dynamic Island, according to a company executive’s deleted tweet and a leaked animation. Actually, this is not a big surprise. Because Realme told everyone in September that it wanted to clone Dynamic Island. Since then, a feature called “Mini Capsule” appears to be in the works.
A photo in the removed tweet does indeed show a pill-shaped UI element with Oppo’s SuperVOOC charging logo displayed at the top of the screen. The animation you can watch here also shows how this capsule works. The mini screen at the top appears, shrinks and expands just like on iPhones.
