Known for bringing the camera of its smartphones to the fore, Samsung thinks that the camera application works slower than it should. It will allow you to shoot much faster by bringing a new feature to Camera Assistant. Here’s what you need to know about Quick Shutter Tap.
Samsung camera speeds up with Quick Shutter Tap
Even the most advanced cameras in Samsung’s Galaxy series can run slowly. The Korean manufacturer, on the other hand, wants to solve this problem with the Quick Shutter Tap feature it brought to the Camera Assistant application. The innovation will allow users to take pictures as soon as they touch the shutter, not the moment they press the shutter button. Samsung thinks it will save “a few milliseconds” of shooting time.
While the Quick Shutter Tap is useful for Camera Assistant, it won’t be available on all Galaxy models. Samsung said it will only offer the feature to a few models. However, users think that this feature should come to all Galaxy models and should be in the stock camera app.
In addition to the Quick Shutter Tap, Samsung is preparing to bring the Capture Speed feature in the Camera Assistant app to the stock camera app. This feature automatically detects moving objects and prioritizes shutter speed over image quality.
Adding these two camera features to the stock camera app could make a significant difference for Galaxy users. While Samsung’s cameras are among the best in the industry, these improvements will make the cameras even better.
