Japan-based technology giant Sony has been working on a new virtual reality equipment for several years. In this context; The last time was a year ago, official images of what the equipment to be named “PSVR2” would look like were shared, and no concrete steps have been taken since then. But now this situation has changed. Sony will hold an event later in the day and will officially introduce PSVR2 as part of this event.
Hours before the event, a remarkable move came from Sony. The company has released the new 1.29 code update for Gran Turismo 7, which will work fully compatible with PSVR2. A promotional video was also shared. This trailer showcases PSVR2’s capabilities.
PSVR2 will follow the user’s eye!
When we look at the promotional video for Gran Turismo 7, we see that this equipment will have an eye tracking feature. In this context; Wherever the user looks while playing the racing game, the view angle will turn towards that direction. As in the past, head movements will also be decisive for the image in the game. When three-dimensional sound support is added to all these, it is possible to say that Gran Turismo 7 with PSVR2 support will truly offer a unique experience.
Meanwhile; It should be noted that the 1.29 coded update prepared for Gran Turismo 7 does not only contain virtual reality features. PlayStation 5 owners will have the opportunity to compete against a special artificial intelligence after the update. In addition, players will have the opportunity to drive 5 new cars in the new version.
