Annoying news came from the first major expansion planned for Crusader Kings 3. The series, which is one of the important brands offered by Paradox Interactive to the game world, delighted its fans with its new production. The studio, which has made a large-scale DLC announcement in the past months, seems to upset those who are waiting.
Making a statement on its own forum page, Paradox Interactive announced that the Royal Court additional package is not ready yet. The update, whose new release date is not shared, will not be released before 2022.
Crusader Kings 3 DLC won’t arrive until 2022
The studio thanked its fans in the statement released on the subject, and asked the fans to be a little more patient. While underlining that the preparations have not been completed yet, the announcement included the following:
Royal Court is not only the first expansion for Crusader Kings 3, but also a series of upgrades that are completely new to the Crusader Kings series, including cultural evolution and language. We also understand the frustration caused by the delays, but we always want to make sure we are as forthright as possible and that you hear the news directly from us.
Underlining that they will make a new announcement soon, Paradox Interactive announced that it will not be possible to have the additional package ready before 2022. The studio will launch Royal Court next year as soon as possible.
With the announcement, which received a positive response from the fans in general, the issue seems to be closed for now. The actors especially thanked the studio for being honest. However, fans who do not want to experience the increasing optimization problems in the game world can be more understanding to show patience.
