Activision, one of the biggest names in the game world, came to the fore with a big cyber attack claim. In the post made by the “vx-underground” group, it was stated that the internal documents belonging to Activision were seized together with the cyber attack.

Among these documents were various plans dating back to 17 November 2023. The plans in question included new content to come to Activision’s popular games. The attack, which is stated to have taken place on December 4, has also brought to light a new project that Activision is working on.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 plans revealed:

According to the documents that have emerged, Activision has made a total of 6 seasons of content plans for both games until November 2023. It was also revealed that in three of these seasons, a total of two new operators, a character and three new weapons will be added to the game.

While the game is currently in season two, the dates for all four seasons scheduled through November 2023 are listed as follows:

  • Season 3: March 15 – May 15
  • Season 4: May 15 – July 16
  • Season 5: 17 July – 14 September
  • Season 6: September 15 – November 8

Project “Jupiter”:

The most interesting detail in the documents was an unknown project with the code name “Jupiter”. It was stated that the project would reach its 4th phase in April, and that it would be in alpha and fifth phases in the period of May-June. There is not the slightest detail about the project.

Hackers accessed the Slack channel with Activision employees, and also made inappropriate posts:

In addition to obtaining documents, the hackers also gained access to the Slack channel, which has more than 9,300 employees. In addition, messages of child abuse were shared on this channel.

The above information may or may not have changed:

Of course, since the leak in question belongs to December, it is quite possible that these dates and planned content have also been changed or will be changed. Activision has not yet made a statement about the leak allegations.
