Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced that the company will attend the 2023 Mobile World Congress, bringing CyberDog and CyberOne robots to the event. Thus, the technology giant’s robot dog and humanoid robot will be showcased outside of China.

It is not yet known whether the robots will be sold in Europe in the future or if they will be brought in for promotional purposes only. “CyberOne and CyberDog are coming to #MWC23! (And they can’t wait to meet you),” the veteran executive announced.

It won’t be limited to robots

CyberDog, the first four-legged robot introduced by Xiaomi in 2021, looks like Spot produced by Boston Dynamic in appearance. CyberOne was launched as a 177 cm tall humanoid robot. Thanks to its artificial intelligence, it can detect 45 different human emotions.

Xiaomi is apparently planning a large-scale rollout. So it won’t be limited to just robots. The company will also introduce the global versions of Xiaomi 13 smartphones within the scope of MWC 2023.
