According to Ice Universe, which is known for providing accurate information about Samsung products, the company is currently working on the Exynos 2400 chip. This chip will have a 10-core configuration in total. Accordingly, in Exynos 2400, we will see one high-frequency Cortex X4, two high-frequency Cortex A720, three low-frequency Cortex A720 and a quad-core Cortex 520 processor configuration.
According to the information we have, it is unclear which smartphone this chip will power for now, but according to the naming, the most likely phone seems to be the Galaxy S24 series. As it is known, the Exynos 2100 chip was used in the Galaxy S21 series in 2021, and the Exynos 2022 chip was used in the Galaxy S22 series in 2022.
The reason why Samsung does not use its own processors in the Galaxy S23 series is the lack of performance. TSMC’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is a very powerful mobile chip.
