Although the effect of the pandemic seems to be decreasing, many giant brands such as Apple and it continue to take measures against COVID-19 in order to protect the health of both their employees and customers.
The most recent of these measures came from Apple, which has set new rules for retail store employees. The company has mandated rapid testing twice a week for unvaccinated employees and once a week for vaccinated employees.
Employees will get the vaccines they need to get regularly from Apple
The technology giant recently announced that it has decided to postpone the return to office date to January 2022 with the emergence of the Delta variant. Although retail store employees were not included in this decision, the company continued to take extensive measures to protect its employees.
Among these measures, the test requirement that we just mentioned was introduced. Those who are vaccinated have to have the rapid test, which gives results in 15 minutes, once a week, while those who are not vaccinated have to be tested twice a week. Employees will be able to obtain these tests, which they must have regularly, free of charge from Apple.
