In one of our content we shared with you last week, we talked about a post by billionaire businessman Elon Musk about Bitcoin and Ethereum. In this post, Musk shared images of a pair following Ethereum and Bitcoin prices. In fact, the couple in that image was a long-known internet meme. Its name was “Love in The Time of Web3”. That sharing of Elon Musk partially enriched the designer named Eva Beylin, the name behind the meme.
Acting with Musk’s tweet, Beylin launched Love in The Time of Web3 through an NFT platform called ZORA. NFT, which received dozens of offers in a short time, finally found a buyer for 5 Ethereum (it was $ 20 thousand 560 at the time of sale). Beylin gave 20 percent of the money he earned from the sale to another user who adapted the famous meme to cryptocurrencies.
The image in the tweet shared by Elon Musk was as follows
Eva Beylin preferred to keep her silence on the subject. However, Shegenerates, who adapted the internet meme to crypto money, said; Personally, I blocked Musk on Twitter, so I only saw this after Eva shared it was hers. I wish I could get that many likes, it’s great to see what I’m sharing around.
The user, who bought the internet meme for 5 Ethereum, offered this NFT for sale again through ZORA. The user who wanted 69.42 Ethereum for NFT has only received an offer of 6.94 Ethereum so far. If this sale happens, 15 percent of NFT’s revenue will go to Eva Beylin for copyright reasons.
