The Voyager Digital crisis continues in the crypto industry. Bankrupt crypto lender Voyager Digital was sold to FTX for a $1 billion fee, following court approval. Taking advantage of this situation, Binance received the necessary approvals from the court to purchase Voyager Digital. Now FTX has filed a $446 million lawsuit against Voyager Digital.

FTX Sues Voyager Digital for $446 Million

Restructuring after going bankrupt, FTX has filed a $446 million lawsuit against crypto lending platform Voyager Digital.

Last year was a year filled with bankruptcies for cryptocurrency projects. FTX and Voyager are among the companies that went bankrupt in 2022. However, Voyager filed for bankruptcy 4 months before the FTX company.

In an application filed in July, Voyager requested FTX and Alameda to reimburse all unpaid loans. The company, which went into a major crisis, received loan payments of $ 446 million from FTX and Alameda.

Now, FTX knocked on the court’s door to return the loan it paid to Voyager Digital. FTX underlined that these loan payments were made very close to its bankruptcy. Citing this, FTX stated that the payment is revocable and available to FTX creditors.
