As previously reported, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be powered by the new ISOCELL HP2 sensor of 200 MP. This sensor will have an aperture of F1.7, Super QPD autofocus and capabilities such as optical image stabilization (OIS). Samsung’s new sensor offers 33 percent more electrons in each pixel, allowing more light to be absorbed.

For this reason, it is stated on paper that the camera will perform well in low light conditions. In fact, Samsung claims that the sensor can focus clearly even in candlelit scenes with a brightness of 1 lux. Apparently, these claims are also supported by the low-light camera samples of the Galaxy S23 Ultra that have emerged.
Galaxy S23 Ultra photo samples shared by Twitter user Edwards Urbina show the same scene with night mode on and off. While the difference between the photo samples is quite ambitious, the low-light performance of the Galaxy S23 Ultra is impressive.
It is also noteworthy that the loss of detail in the shared camera samples is low. However, we can’t confirm if the camera samples really belong to the Galaxy S23 Ultra, but similar leaks suggest that the low-light performance of Samsung’s new flagship will be strong. The Samsung Galaxy S23 series will be introduced on February 1.
