After the famous businessman Elon Musk bought Twitter, the company went into a serious downsizing. In addition, many changes in the application were also on the agenda. However, the latest news is quite surprising. According to the news, Twitter has auctioned off many items in its headquarters.
The items in the Twitter headquarters are on sale!
In the past months, Elon Musk sent an email to Twitter employees. In this e-mail, he made a statement about the future and new era of Twitter. However, “If you are sure you want to be part of the new Twitter, please click yes on the link below.” said.
According to the employees, those who chose the yes option on the link were faced with the text “working long hours at high intensity”. Those who answered no to the link in this article left Twitter. Thus, the number of employees in the headquarters decreased and in addition, there were layoffs.
Along with the information that emerged, it was announced that a restructuring would be made at the headquarters and the surplus items would be put up for sale via auction. These products were sold in a short time. Among the items, there were many products such as kitchen appliances, computers, office chairs, sculptures with the Twitter logo, and projectors.
It is claimed that the statue with the Twitter logo, which is among these products, was sold for exactly 100 thousand dollars. Heritage Global Partners, the director of the auction, did not disclose the results. However, allegedly, a planter in the shape of the “@” symbol was sold for about 15 thousand dollars. Apart from all this, it has been revealed that Elon Musk has turned some parts of the office into a sleeping area in the past months. Now it is said that Musk has even placed a washing machine in some parts of the office.
