Chinese technology giant Huawei continues to be one of the prominent companies in smartphones both in our country and in the world. The company’s new device, the Mate X3, which is also successful in foldable phones, was expected with great interest.

Today, some leaks have emerged about the new foldable phone. The information shared on Weibo gave us an idea about the release date of the phone and showed that it could come with a very remarkable feature.

According to the leak, the Mate X3 will be introduced before the P60 series, will feature satellite connectivity

According to the leak, the phone will be introduced before the P60 series. There are rumors that the P60 may arrive in March. This reveals that the foldable phone can be the new flagship of the technology giant by being released in January and February.

Apart from that, the leak also shows that the Huawei Mate X3 may come with the next generation satellite connection feature. This life-saving feature will enable users to send or receive messages via satellite connection even when the phone is not picking up. It is even said that it is possible to send a voice message.

The satellite connection feature was already available on Huawei’s Mate 50 phone. However, it was only possible to send messages on that phone. Let’s not forget that there are other companies that bring this important feature besides Huawei. While Apple added satellite connection to the iPhone 14 family, which it introduced in September 2022, Qualcomm recently introduced a similar feature.

What features can we encounter in Mate X3?

The Mate X3, which is expected to rival the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, is said to come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It is said to come with a design that can be folded like a book and resembles the Galaxy Z Fold 4. It is also reported that Huawei can offer features such as 8-inch 90 Hz OLED and 6.45-inch 90 Hz OLED screens, 8 GB RAM, 4500 mAH (55W fast charging support) battery on the phone. On the camera side, we can encounter 50 MP, 16 MP, 12 MP rear camera and 16 MP selfie camera.
