In the past weeks, Intel introduced Raptor Lake T series processors with 35W TDP, which will need less power for the desktop platform. Now, the top model of this series, Intel Core i9-13900T, has been viewed on Geekbench with impressive scores. What does the new processor offer against the i9-12900K with 125W TDP? Here are the details

What does the Intel Core i9-13900T offer?

According to reports, the Intel Core i9-13900T will come with a configuration of 24 cores and 32 threads, consisting of 8 performance and 16 efficiency cores. However, the new processor is accompanied by 1.10 GHz base clock speed, 5.30 GHz maximum clock speed and 68 MB cache (L2+L3).

As for the results, the Core i9-13900T, tested on the Geekbench platform with ASUS TUF Gaming B660M-PLUS WIFI motherboard and 64GB DDR5 memory, scores 2178 in single core and 17339 in multi-core tests. In similar tests, the Alder Lake flagship i9-12900K has 1901 and 17272 points, respectively. Thus, the new processor exhibits similar multi-core score and 15 percent higher single-core performance with 3.5 times lower power consumption.

In the light of the shared information, we can say that Intel has done a successful job on the power efficiency of the 10nm ESF process node and the new hybrid architecture. In addition, Raptor Lake HX processors, which will accompany gaming laptops in the coming months, will appear with similar results.
