Sending a video to the event, Erdoğan used the following expressions. “Today, with the spread of social media, we, along with all humanity, are frequently exposed to disinformation campaigns. Due to false and distorted news, the lives of millions of defenseless people around the world are darkened, and serious traumas and dramas are experienced. Social media channels, where there is no control or self-control, have come to the point of threatening both democracy, social peace and national security of states today.

No country or society is free from the destructive effect of digital fascism, no matter how developed it is. Besides digital fascism, the Turkish world also suffers from the double standard of the international press. As with other strategic issues, we have to cut ourselves off in media and communication. As the Turkish world, we should take initiative in this regard, share experience, join forces and seek ways to make the most effective use of the opportunities at our disposal. ”
