Famous analyst dylandkt said in a statement on Twitter that the new MacBook Air model will be offered to users with a design change. It is among the details that the new model will come with a design similar to the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.
The MacBook Air with the M2 processor will have a MacBook Pro-like design.
The MacBook Air, designed for daily use, will not be released with M1 Pro and M1 Max processors, according to leaks. Stating that Apple is working on the M2 processor, dylandkt underlined that the company will come up with a high-efficiency chip. In addition, saying that the new MacBook Air model will come with passive cooling, dylandkt also talked about the screen features of the device.
The new MacBook Air model, which is predicted to come with a mini-LED display, will use a 1080p camera. Although there is no information about the camera notch yet, it has been stated that the ProMotion technology in the MacBook Pro will not be included in the MacBook Air model.
As with the iMac with the M1 processor, the MacBook Air model is thought to have various color options. It is stated that the device, which will have features such as support for at least two external monitors and Type-C input, will not have an SD Card reader and HDMI output.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also come to the fore with similar statements in the past months. Stating that the new MacBook Air model will come with mini-LED, Kuo said that it will be introduced with the updated M-series chip.
