In the smartphone market, Samsung has managed to be one of the fastest-acting manufacturers on the Android 13 update. Today, the brand, which brings the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 version to entry and mid-level phones after the flagship models, is now preparing for the One UI 5.1 update.

Android 13-based One UI 5.1 tests started for the Galaxy S20 series

If we recall, Samsung started testing One UI 5.1 for its flagship Galaxy S22 series last month. A new report shared today shows that these tests have also been extended to older flagship devices. In this context, it is reported that Samsung has started internal One UI 5.0 tests for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra with software version G980FXXUFHWA1.

The full changelog of One UI 5.1 for the Galaxy S20 series has not been shared yet. However, according to leaks, the new version will bring the lock screen and new UI customization options to the flagship released in 2020. Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S23 family at a special event to be held on February 1. The new announcement will likely be accompanied by the One UI 5.1 version update.
