While CES 2023 in Las Vegas continues at full speed, MSI continues to introduce its new hardware. We started seeing the next generation PCIe 5.0 SSDs at the event and the company introduced two new products that will be on sale soon: Spatium M570 Pro and Spatium M570.PCIe 5.0 and 12GBps speed
According to MSI, both products will be used in Titan GT77 HX and Raider GE78 HX laptops, which MSI also introduced at the event. The MSI Spatium M570 Pro will be a slightly faster model than its sibling. While the Spatium M570 Pro offers 12,000 MBps read and 10,000 MBps write speeds, the Spatium M570 will be capable of 10,000 MBps read and 10,000 MBps write speeds.
MSI will offer 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacity options for both Spatium M570 models. The company will still include Phison’s E26 controller in both products, but will use Micron’s 232-layer NAND memories that provide higher speeds in the Pro model. TCL memory will also be used in the non-pro model. This is the reason for the difference in reading speeds.MSI will offer both versions with and without a heatsink in its new SSDs, but it has to be said that the ones with cooling look pretty good. MSI has not shared any pricing information for the products, but it has been confirmed that they will go on sale in the second quarter of the year.
