The CES 2023 fair, which started on January 5, continues without slowing down. As part of the event, technology companies from all over the world have the opportunity to showcase their newest products and technologies. At this point, it is possible to say Gigabyte is one of the companies that stand out. The Taiwan-based firm recently showcased the Gigabyte AORUS 15X and 17X models. So what do laptops offer users?

At CES 2023, which recently opened its doors to technology enthusiasts, Gigabyte announced two new laptops under the gaming-focused AORUS brand: Gigabyte AORUS 15X and 17X. At this point, the two laptops are identical except for a few critical details.

The Gigabyte AORUS 17X has a 17.3-inch panel with QHD resolution, which offers a refresh rate of 240 Hz. On the other hand, the AORUS 15X offers the same screen features as the other model, except for the 15.6-inch screen size. At the same time, the thickness of the laptop models with an aluminum alloy chassis is 21.8 mm.

The two models differ from each other on the processor side. Because AORUS 17X is powered by Intel Core i9-13950HX and AORUS 15X is powered by Intel Core i9-13900HX chip. Apart from that, the first one hosts a 16 GB GDDR5 RTX4090 GPU, and the second hosts an 8 GB GDDR6 RTX4070 GPU. The Aorus 17X is claimed to deliver a maximum Total Graphics Power (TGP) of up to 175W. In addition, a steam chamber for heat dissipation and a Windforce Infinity cooling technology with dual fans are present in the device.

The Gigabyte AORUS 17X and 15X will run Windows 11 out of the box. Laptops with 99Whr batteries have up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and PCIe Gen4x4 SSD internal storage.
