HP launches world’s first 45-inch dual QHD curved monitor

At the CES 2023 event, HP announced a total of 11 new monitors under the name of the E-series. All monitors in this series are made with 90 percent recycled materials such as coffee grounds, aluminum and ocean-derived plastics. However, among these, the G5 series is among the most striking models with its USB-C connection, resolution support up to 4K and sizes from 21.5 inches to 44.5 inches. What does the HP E45c G5 offer?

The world’s first 45-inch dual QHD curved monitor, the HP E45c G5, comes with 400 nits brightness, 5120p x 1440 resolution and 99 sRGB color gamut support. However, the 45-inch ultra-wide monitor will have two 65W PD (Power Delivery) support, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and four USB-A ports for Mac and PCs.

In addition, equipped with additional features for the use of dual monitors, the HP E45c G5 will allow the creation of two virtual screens side by side with a built-in software. Thus, users will have access to two 24-inch QHD monitors on a single monitor. Also VESA compatible, the HP E45c G5 is supported by a movable stand that can be raised up to 150mm.

HP E32k G5 specifications

A sub-model of the family, the E32k G5, has 99 percent sRGB color gamut, 350 nits brightness, 3840p x 2160 resolution and 32-inch screen size. However, for Mac and PCs, equipped with one 65W PD (Power Delivery) support, one HDMI 2.0, three USB-A, DisplayPort 1.4 and an additional 15W USB-C port, the monitor is a movable stand in the top model. and maintains VESA support.

HP E27k G5 specifications

The HP E27k G5 shares similar features with a higher-end model, the E32k G5. Supported with 99 percent sRGB color gamut, 4K 3840p x 2160 resolution and 27-inch screen size, the monitor has one HDMI 2.0, one 65W PD (Power Delivery) support and an additional 15W USB-C port. It also stands out with a movable stand and VESA support.

HP E27u G5 specifications

The lowest model of the series, the HP E27u, will be presented with 350 nits brightness, 2K 2560p x 1440 resolution, 99 percent sRGB color gamut and 27-inch screen size. Supporting three USB-A, one HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2 and 65W PD (Power Delivery), the monitor comes with an additional 15W USB-C port, VESA compatibility and a movable stand.

HP did not share a detailed price list for the E-Series and E-Series G5 monitors introduced as part of the CES 2023 event. However, the new monitors are expected to be released in January, with prices starting at $219.
