Intel 13th Gen mobile processor performances

Intel’s most powerful mobile processor, the Core i9 13980HX, is the first laptop processor to offer not only 24 cores, but also ambitious speeds of 5.6 GHz. Intel 13th Gen mobile HX processors consist of 9 chips rated for 55W base and 157W maximum power consumption.
On the performance side, the flagship Core i9 13980HX promises an 11 percent increase in single-core performance and a 49 percent increase in multi-core performance compared to the Core i9-12900HK. It’s over 50 percent faster than the multi-core performance of AMD’s Ryzen 9 6900HX processor.
In gaming performance, the Core i9 13980HX claims up to 12 percent more performance than the previous model. The Core i9 13980HX also performs up to 79 percent better in Blender performance than the Core i9-12900HK. In tests such as AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Intel states that the processor brings a performance increase of up to 24 percent.

On the Intel 13th Generation mobile H-series processor side, we see the 14-core Core i9 13900HK processor. Similar to HX processors, Intel 13th Gen mobile H processors are 11 percent faster than the Core i9 12900H in CrossMark tests. The processor is also ahead of AMD’s Ryzen 6000 and Apple’s M1 Max processors.
