South Korean technology giant Samsung introduced one of its newest products, the Flex Hybrid OLED display. Designed for smartphones, tablets and laptops, the panel can take shape according to different usage scenarios.While the left side of Flex Hybrid has folding technology, the right side has the function of extending out. In other words, it is a product that combines two form factors in one body. Thanks to these features, it can transform from a compact structure to a much larger screen.
Screen dimensions
When the device is unfolded, a 10.5-inch screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio is obtained. When fully extended and expanded, a 12.4-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio emerges. So it’s ideal for watching full movies or YouTube videos.
Samsung will showcase this innovative OLED panel at CES 2023 in Las Vegas. The company will also show two more stretchable OLED panels at the event, the Flex Slidable Solo and Flex Slidable Duet.
