The year 2023 will have a total of 15.5 days of public holidays. The first holiday of the year, of course, will be January 1, and the last holiday will be October 29, Republic Day.

Ramadan and Sacrifice Holidays:
Eid al-Fitr, one of the religious holidays, will be celebrated on April 20-23 and will be a public holiday for a total of 3.5 days, half of the first day of the eve. Eid al-Adha will be celebrated between June 28 and July 1 and will be a public holiday for 4.5 days in total.
A total of 24 days of vacation can be made by taking 4 days off from work:
Public holidays in 2023 correspond to the days that will coincide with a total of 24 days off by taking only 4 days off during the year. So how? Let’s explain now…
You can take a 5-day uninterrupted vacation using leave 2 days before or after 30 August. In addition, you can take a 9-day uninterrupted holiday by taking 1.5 days off on Eid al-Adha, along with the eve of the half-day holiday on 27 June. On the other hand, during the Eid al-Fitr, you can take a half-day off on the eve and take a 4-day uninterrupted holiday.
