Brave, which was first released in November 2019 and prioritizes security and privacy unlike other browsers, has come a long way in a short time. The browser, which is not yet two years old, but has already started new projects, has created its own search engine by doing what many of its competitors cannot do.
The browser, which supports Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android platforms, started to be developed in 2015 and took its current form with various arrangements in the intervening period. The browser, which eliminated the security and privacy vulnerabilities experienced in popular browsers such as Chrome and Edge, managed to develop its search engine before completing its second year. Brave Search is now available!
Brave Search is now available
Safe from most other browsers, Brave was able to load pages relatively quickly. With its built-in ad-blocking feature, the browser also prevents you from going to a second trouble, and wants to reach larger audiences with its new search engine. The company, which will present Brave Search by default in its browsers against Google dominance in the market, will be able to get results from other providers where it is insufficient.
So when Brave Search can’t find what you’re looking for, it will automatically query Google and list its results for you. Users who wish will be able to disable Brave’s search engine by selecting Google or a different search engine by default from the settings section.
Brave will soon add ads to the browser
Brave, which does not currently have ads in the browser, is expected to go to regulation in the coming days. The developers plan to add various ads to the free version of the application. It is said that users can use the ad-free version for a fee.
So which browser are you using? What is your default search engine in the browser? You can specify in the comments…
