Manchester United are accused of copying the work of NFT artist DesLucrece.

An official NFT collection released by the English club has been accused of resembling the works of the popular NFT artist.

Manchester United React Over NFT Collection

A Twitter user said that the “The Devils” collection is too similar to the Des Monsters collection, which sold for 17.5 ETH on OpenSea. Similar features were pointed out in the images used.

The user said, “We need answers, this is complete garbage.”

Both NFT collections are printed on the Tezos blockchain.

England’s most winning club partnered with the Tezos Foundation earlier this year. On December 21, he released the NFT collection called “The Devils”. Sold with a price tag of $36 each, the 7777 NFT sold out shortly after its release.

Manchester United, Tezos co-founder Arthur Breitman and Trilitech, the platform behind the NFT collection, declined to comment on the matter.

DesLucrece, on the other hand, said in a statement on Twitter that he and Breitman were negotiating for a solution and they were waiting for a comment from United.
