Redmi brand introduced its new smart watch at the event it organized today. The model, which entered the market under the name Watch 3, was released as the sequel to last year’s Redmi Watch 2, while bringing a few changes with it.The device came up with a 1.75-inch AMOLED display with a pixel density of 341 ppi and a maximum brightness of 600 nits. There’s also Always-On Display support. Users will be able to choose from over 200 watch faces.
While the Redmi Watch 3 draws attention with its independent GPS feature, it comes with 121 sports modes. It also has standard functions such as heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep and stress tracking, breathing exercise, menstrual cycle monitoring.
How much does Redmi Watch 3 cost?
While the smart watch offers water resistance up to 50 meters, it also includes an NFC module. Thanks to its Bluetooth support and built-in speaker and microphone, you can answer incoming calls to the paired smartphone directly on the watch.
Redmi Watch 3 is powered by a 289mAh battery that provides up to 12 days of battery life on a single charge. The device is available in two color options, black and silver. The smartwatch will be available for purchase in China starting today, priced at 499 yuan ($70).
