Samsung continues to develop new applications and software to take the user experience to the next level. In this context, the South Korean manufacturer has developed Camera Assistant, which optimizes and improves camera performance in the past months, and launched it for the Galaxy S22 series earlier this month. The company, which received positive feedback from users, is apparently working to bring the relevant software to more models.
Samsung Camera Assistant app coming to more models
The next target of Samsung, which continues to distribute Android 13, has emerged. According to a moderator on the Samsung Community forum, the Camera Assistant application, which offers users the opportunity to choose automation features with a fully personalized shooting experience and improves camera performance, will come to more models after the Galaxy S22 series.
The moderator said in a statement that Camera Assistant will also come to other Galaxy devices and an announcement will be made with the beta version very soon. For now, there is no clear date or list on the subject. However, considering Samsung’s recent Android 13 update performance, we can say that users do not need to wait long.
The possibilities offered by Camera Assistant to users are as follows;
The Camera Assistant app, on the other hand, offers users the opportunity to choose automation features for a fully personalized shooting experience.
The Camera Assistant application allows users to turn features such as ‘Auto Lens Switching’, ‘Auto HDR’ and ‘Shutter Acceleration’ on and off. In addition, it provides more control over the photos with features such as the ability to more precisely control the sharpness levels and the number of photos to be taken after the timer goes off.
– Auto HDR: In backlit situations, users can turn HDR off for more natural photos.
– Photo smoothing feature: It can be used to correct sharp edges and photo texture in the photo.
– Automatic lens switching: The ‘Automatic lens switching’ feature, which automatically switches between camera lenses when zooming in on the photographed subject or in the dark, can now be turned off.
When users want to use a telephoto lens instead of a wide lens to take a picture of an object closer to them, this feature can be turned off via the menu.
– Video recording in photo mode: When this feature, which allows shooting video clips by long pressing the button in photo mode, is turned off, preventing accidental video recording.
– Setting the number of shots after the timer: Users can automatically take multiple photos in a row after setting the timer. With this feature, they will also be able to choose how many photos to take.
– Faster shutter: This mode allows taking 7 photos per second. It stands out as an extremely useful feature when taking pictures of moving objects.
– Camera timeout period: Users can choose how long the camera app (on the preview screen) stays open (1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes).
– Preview only on HDMI displays: Allows viewing camera preview on HDMI-connected displays without any menus and buttons.
