During the Roman Empire era, the nation had 175 monarchs, and only 24.8 percent of these 175 people died of natural causes, according to a new report published in the Royal Society Open Science. The rest were found to have either died in the war or, worse, were killed “somehow” or had to commit suicide. Researchers at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of São Paulo have studied the basic mathematical patterns associated with the reigns of Roman emperors and found that they followed this “law of power.” You can access the entire research here.
