The Russian team, which recently shot a movie in space, continues to complete the movie. The team consisted of director Klim Shipenko, actress Yulia Peresild and astronaut Anton Shkaplerov. On October 5, the team went to the International Space Station and shot the first feature film in space.
The shooting of the movie “Vizor” took 12 days. In the movie, the treatment process of an astronaut who fell ill at the station and could not return to Earth, with the help of a doctor, is told. Just days after the crew returned to Earth, the director said, “Mars and the Moon are next.”

The crew, which is part of the Soyuz MS-18 mission, returned to Earth last Saturday. The crew continued to shoot additional scenes immediately after landing. Meanwhile, the Russian director had garnered attention with his first feature film in space. But now his eyes are higher.

According to the news of Reuters, the director of the film shot in space, Klim Shipenko, held a press conference. Shipenko told reporters he was keen to shoot a sequel on the Moon or even Mars.
Shipenko gave the message “We are ready” at the press conference. He continued, “We believe that space cinema should be shot in space. If it’s about the Moon, let’s go to the Moon, if it’s about Mars, let’s go to Mars. ” said. Drawing attention once again with this statement, the director said, “Why not? Why should the movie be shot in the studio?” he said.

Shipenko stated that work on the film will continue until the end of next year. Meanwhile, he added that the space scenes will likely be shown in the last 25 to 35 minutes. He also did not reveal when the movie will be released. That said, he didn’t reveal the cost either, but Shipenko said the international interest was huge.
