Xiaomi, which has appeared with its new flagship phones in the past days, is preparing to compete with itself in the same segment with the K60 Pro model of its subsidiary brand Redmi. AnTuTu performance test results of the phone, powered by Qualcomm’s new processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, have emerged. Here are the K60 Pro’s performance test results!

Official release date of Redmi K60 Pro

Redmi has announced today that the new K60 phones will officially launch on December 27, 2022 and will be available to end users. Contrary to the painting we have seen before, a different path is followed in the new series. In this context, there will not be a phone for mobile gaming called K60 Gaming. Because the performance of the K60 Pro is already high at the level of a player phone.

The reason why the company did not launch a model like the K60 Gaming is that the performance of the K60 Pro is at the level of a player phone. According to Redmi’s statement, this top model will also offer features for competitiveness in esports tournaments.

Just like we saw in the Xiaomi 13 series, this phone will have an identical photo engine developed by Redmi. This feature means: In the photos taken with Sony’s 50MP sensor called IMX890, the artificial intelligence features of the phone will be processed in a separate part. In this way, the user will be offered a much better camera experience.

Redmi K60 Pro, which scored 1,350,526 points in the AnTuTu test conducted to test the processing power of mobile phones, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which passes through the 4 nm production process. This platform is accompanied by a 2K resolution OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone, which comes with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 4.0 standard storage options, meets its energy needs from a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

The K60, a sub-model of the phone, which will use the Android 13-based MIUI 14 interface, is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 platform. The phone, which is not expected to be called Poco F5 5G in the Chinese market, has similar features with the K60 Pro in general.
