According to the screenshot of the Telegram message, Kusama first said “seriously, it’s coming”. Next, he said, “Beta is close to Shibarium,” an Ethereum L2 scaling network for Shiba Inu.

Members of the Shiba Inu community have expressed their excitement at the imminent launch of Shibarium. However, one of Shibarium’s development teams called Merge announced earlier this year that beta testing for the L2 network will begin by the end of September 2022. However, SHIB Trophias, a Shiba Inu senior developer responsible for the website upgrade, revealed that the website is essential for the launch of Shibarium. Trophias said in a statement:

Meanwhile, the team has not chosen a firm date for the Shibarium Beta testing. With the Christmas holidays approaching, the Shibarium Beta test is expected to be released early next year.
