Dragon Knight G7 supports 95 percent DCI-P3!
Despite being a product targeted at gamers, the Samsung Dragon Knight G7 supports 95 percent DCI-P3 color space. In other words, the new model is aimed at users who are both professionally interested in color editing and those who like to play competitive games.
Samsung’s Dragon Knight name is not a well-known series, at least in the western market. The company has only offered this monitor for sale in the Chinese market for now. Dragon Knight G7 is expected to be introduced globally at CES 2023 in January.

Dragon Knight G7, which resembles the company’s Odssey monitors in terms of design, has a 32-inch IPS panel. This 3840×2160 pixel resolution screen covers 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The monitor, which has a GtG, gray-to-gray response time of 1 millisecond, has a refresh rate of 144Hz.
Dragon Knight G7, which has VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, promises up to 400 nits of brightness. In this way, it offers users a better experience in the content watched. The adjustable foot is responsible for the ergonomics of the monitor, which will come out of the box with Samsung’s Tizen OS interface.
Connecting video via HDMI 2.1 and Display 1.4, Dragon Knight G7 uses Nvidia G-Sync and AMD Freesync Premium technologies to minimize video tearing in games. Samsung started selling the monitor in China with a price tag of 4,999 Chinese Yuan, or $717. Global sales are expected to begin in the near future.
