Elon Musk, who shared a poll on whether he should resign from the Twitter presidency the other day, faced a result against him. 57.5% of Twitter users told Musk to leave the presidency. While Musk has not yet shared a statement on the subject, a statement came on a completely different subject.
Having previously stated that critical policy changes will be determined by voting on Twitter, Musk announced that not everyone can participate in this vote today. According to Musk, these surveys will now only be available to users who are Blue subscribers.
Controversial statement by Elon Musk:
Musk didn’t actually come up with this idea himself. The idea came from the cryptocurrency phenomenon “@Unfilteredboss1”. “Blue subscribers should be the only people who can vote in policy-related polls.” Musk’s response to his suggestion was as follows:
“You made a good point. Twitter will make that change.”
So, will Musk leave the presidency?
With this statement, it began to be argued that Musk will ignore the results from the poll about leaving the presidency. Of course, it is quite difficult to say anything definite at this point yet. It is often impossible to predict what Musk will do.
However, the fact that the survey is still on the air and the results are in the middle may push Musk to leave the presidency. If he doesn’t, there will still be a lot of controversy. We’ll only have to wait and see if Musk will take these discussions and continue to manage Twitter.
