Elon Musk has openly stated that after purchasing Twitter, the platform will now be a platform more open to freedom of expression. In this context, he exposed the corruption of Twitter’s former executives and their practices aimed at preventing freedom of expression last weekend.

The famous billionaire connected the business to shooting TV series. This weekend, Musk released the third part of the ‘Twitter Documents’ series, along with independent journalist Matt Taibi, whom he directed to report the documents. Let’s take a look at the details of the files.

This week’s episode is called “The Twitter Excommunication of Donald Trump”

Journalist Matt Taibi compiled the Twitter documents he received from Musk and presented them to the public as a story this week. The documents he narrated cover the events between October 2020 and January 6, 2022.

The published documents include internal conversations between January 6 and January 8, the period when Trump was, so to speak, ‘expelled’ from Twitter. Even non-senior employees of the company talked about this event as a historical event.

By January 6, Twitter had become a platform that was automated and subjectively sanctioned by its top executives, with or without rules. Especially as the election approached, the administrators, who were probably under the pressure of the federal offices, started to implement the Twitter rules by changing them according to their interests.

According to the internal Slack conversations after January 6, Twitter executives seem to be satisfied with their relationship with federal agencies. In other words, Trump’s ban from Twitter and the removal of pressure from federal institutions gave the Twitter supreme board a sigh of relief.

In fact, among the documents shared, there is a Slack channel established for the purpose of removing or editing only the election tweets of former Twitter administrators. However, you will probably get bored if we transfer all the documents to you, so we have shared the most important parts.

If you wish, you can read the entire torrent of tweets, starting here. By the way, it has been announced that the continuation of these documents will come tomorrow, just like last week.
