Apple AR/VR will be available for rOS and xrOS operating systems
Leaks about Apple’s virtual reality headset have started to increase. In the light of the latest information, the operating system of the mixed reality headset is also revealed. According to the content shared by Bloomberg with the note “A source within Apple”, Apple AR/VR would have the xrOS operating system. An article on 9to5Mac says it won’t stop there.
The Apple mixed reality headset, which is expected to be called Reality One or Reality Pro, will be released on two different platforms, one based on iOS (rOS) and the other based on macOS (xrOS). But news coming out of rOS and xrOS information suggests that the title may not be taking the stage anytime soon.
Known for Apple leaks, Ming-Chi Kuo announced a few days ago that Apple AR/VR headsets have been delayed to the second half of next year. The source cites software issues as one of the title’s biggest delays. Kuo said the company will produce between 800,000 and 1.2 million headphones.
According to previously obtained information, Apple AR / VR will be at the level of at least 2 thousand dollars. The device will be powered by the 96W adapter used in the MacBook Pro. The device will have two different processors, one 5nm and the other 4nm, each manufactured by TSMC. On the other hand, Apple aims to solve the sound issue with Airpods during the use of the headset.
