Rumors spread recently claimed that with the iPhone 15, which will be Apple’s next phone series, some design changes will come, including curved edges. However, these claims seem to be in vain.
There is no truth to the rumors, but design changes such as the curved edge are currently in the “contemplation stage” within Apple. So there is no clear decision yet.
According to Forbes’ report, the design of the new iPhone should already be revealed, but this uncertainty seems a bit strange. This may also be due to uncertainties in Apple’s supply chain. This makes a design change more difficult than usual.
In other words, curved edges could be a change Apple wants. However, it seems to be difficult to implement under current conditions. Still, there is at least a small chance for this change to happen.
According to previous claims, some or all of the iPhone 15 series models would be titanium coated. There is a change in this claim now. According to new rumors, only the edges will be titanium coated, and this change was already expected. The back cover will still remain glass.
We will find out if all these claims and rumors are true at the Apple event in September…
