Graphics card manufacturer NVIDIA has reacted to the performance difference between the 12 and 16 GB models of the RTX 4080. Thereupon, allegations emerged that the company will change the name of the 12 GB 4080 to RTX 4070 Ti.
In a listing by Italy-based hardware vendor Drato, it was stated that the RTX 4070 Ti will be released on January 5, 2023. The ad, which was allegedly added by mistake, soon spread to social media and was removed from the site.
CES 2023 technology fair will be held in the first week of next year (5-8 January). It is said that we can see the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti at this event. This supports the claims that the said graphics card will be introduced on January 5th.
NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti price is estimated to be $ 899. Because, considering that it will have the same features as the canceled RTX 4080 12 GB, this price seems consistent. Another rumor on the subject shows that there will be a slight change in price due to the name change.
