Announcing the world’s first 500Hz player monitor last January, China-based panel manufacturer BOE continues its investments in this area. Now, the panel giant has introduced 600Hz display panels for laptops at the recently held 2022 World Display Industry Conference.

World’s first 600Hz laptop display

Details of the new panel, which was displayed on a laptop model with Nvidia RTX graphics card during the event, are not yet known. However, we can say that the numbers in question look truly incredible. However, BOE did not share any information on pricing or release dates for laptops with 600Hz panels.

It should also be noted that the new panel is a prototype designed for promotional purposes. Because until now, no company has been able to exceed the 500 Hz limit for current laptops.

Also during the presentation, BOE showed off its new mini LED-backlit displays in 34-inch and 86-inch sizes. Among these, the 34-inch model offers HDR1000 certification and an ultra-high contrast of 100,000:1, while the 86-inch panel stands out with its 4K resolution and 1500 nits peak brightness.
