Xiaomi recently announced that the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones will be introduced on December 1st. The Chinese manufacturer has now announced that all models in the series will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.According to the company, the performance of the Xiaomi 13 will be at a level that can compete with player phones. It is also stated that despite its small size (6.3-inch body), the warming performance of the device will be comparable to gaming-oriented smartphones.

Xiaomi also shared some additional information about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The company says CPU multi-core performance has increased by 37%, making it comparable to the Apple A16 Bionic, while GPU performance has increased by 42%, outpacing the A16.
Xiaomi 13 smartphones will come with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. While memory bandwidth reaches the level of desktop computer chips, UFS 4.0 technology will provide sequential read speeds of up to 3.5GB/s (twice that of UFS 3.1).
