WhatsApp’s Windows app brings contact card sharing feature
It turned out that the messaging app WhatsApp, owned by Meta, is testing a new feature that will allow users to share contact cards in a chat on the Windows desktop app after it introduced the ability to create polls in chats.

WhatsApp continues to bring innovations to its desktop application

Working on this new feature seen in the Windows beta 2.2247.2.0 update, it seems that WhatsApp is eager to bring new features to the Windows desktop application. According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp users using the Windows desktop client will be able to share a contact card in chat, allowing the recipient to easily add it to their address book. The report also shared a screenshot of the feature showing the new Contacts option in the Share list.

According to the screenshot above shared in the report, users with the Windows desktop application will need to click on the contact card sharing option. Although this is all that is known about the feature, which is expected to be available to more beta testers in the coming days, it is quite possible that the feature will be available soon.
