Gran Turismo 7 could be the next PlayStation exclusive to come to PC, according to Kazunori Yamauchi, creator of the best racing game franchise on PlayStation. Developer Polyphony stated that they are considering bringing the racing game to the PC platform. Speaking to GTPlanet at the Gran Turismo World Finals, Kazunori Yamauchi hinted that the highly anticipated PC version for the racing simulation is not an impossible thought in the near future. “Gran Turismo is a very well tuned game. There aren’t many platforms that can run the game in native 4K/60fps, so the way to make this possible is to narrow the platform down. This is not an easy task, but of course, we are investigating and evaluating.” said.
Gran Turismo 7, the latest game in the acclaimed racing series, has been on PS4 and PS5 for eight months. The dev team worked to fix various performance issues such as stuttering, freezing, lag along with bugs to provide better gaming experience.
Considering that other PlayStation-exclusive games such as God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, Horizon, Uncharted have come to the PC platform in recent years, it is not impossible for Gran Turismo 7 to be a PC version.
