Google is also offering an update for those who use the Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides app other than Gmail. Users can now more easily share spreadsheets, presentations, documents with other participants when they join a Google Meet call. Access will be granted to all users participating in the conversation or open to certain users. In addition, all users will be able to collaborate on a document, spreadsheet or presentation.
Google said it will make these updates to Gmail and other applications available to Workspace and G Suite users in the coming weeks. Worspace users can take advantage of 1TB of free storage.
