Cambridge University has published online all the surviving correspondence of Charles Darwin, the first name that comes to mind when it comes to the theory of evolution. The new collection will accompany the edition to be released in early 2023.

All of Charles Darwin’s correspondence shared online

The collection, which contains a total of 15,000 letters, including 400 that has reportedly been revealed or “reinterpreted”, is about Charles Darwin’s correspondence between 1822 and 1882. We can say that this internet archive, which contains reflections on Darwin’s Beagle voyage and his book On the Origin of Species, sheds light on history.

In addition, the university notes that there are letters discovered too late to be included in physical copies in the collection shared online. In addition, users and researchers will be able to take a look at how Darwin’s attitude towards evolution changed during his lifetime, one of the most brilliant scientists in our history.
