Cryptocurrency markets have been shaken by what the popular exchange FTX has experienced lately. The giant stock market, which was experiencing a liquidity crisis, declared bankruptcy in the past days, causing many investors to suffer. While this situation deeply affected the markets, it led to decreases in many cryptocurrencies, including the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin.
Less than a month after the collapse of FTX, there has been a new development. Amazon has rolled up its sleeves for a series that will focus on the crashing stock market and Sam Bankman-Fried, who played an important role in this process. It was stated that the series will be developed by AGBO, the production company of the director duo Joe and Anthony Russo, whom we know from the Avengers films.
The production that will focus on the FTX scandal; It will be an 8-episode mini-series, based on what a series of journalists learned ‘inside’ about the events
According to Variety, the production, which will be offered to Amazon Prime Video subscribers, will be an 8-episode series. In addition, it is reported that David Weil, the creator of the popular Amazon series Hunters, will take part in the FTX series as a producer and writer.
It is also among the information that Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, who directed Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War and a few more major Marvel movies, were interviewed to direct the series. Let us reiterate that the production company of this duo, AGBO, will develop the FTX production. It was also stated that Amazon plans to begin filming for the series in the spring of 2023.
Other than that, sources say the series will be based on “insider things” from a number of journalists covering FTX and CEO Bankman-Fried. Details of this are currently kept confidential. In addition, the information also shows that the negotiations for the series with the Marvel actors with whom the Russo brothers have worked many times in the past are continuing. Of course, it should be noted that these negotiations, whose exact person is unknown, are still in their early stages.
Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon Studios, also said in her statements about the series, “We are very excited to be able to continue our relationship with David, Joe, Anthony and the AGBO team with this series. I can’t think of a better partnership to bring this multifaceted story to our global Prime Video audience.”
