A remarkable move came from CD Projekt Red, which faced the reaction of the players due to the bugs in Cyberpunk 2077, which it barely released in 2020. The company made important statements for “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”, which it published in 2015. According to the statements made, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive a giant update on December 14, 2022, and with this update, the game will be made suitable for new generation technologies.

The new update, which will be offered to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC players, will be available for free to all game owners. According to CD Projekt Red’s statement, all the visuals in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have been renewed. With the Photo Mode to be added to the game, players will be able to immortalize the unique image quality. At this point, it is said that a competition may be held in the future, but it is not clear.

The improvements to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt aren’t just about visuals. The team announced that brand new mods, both self-made and community-created, have been added to the game. With this; Errors in several quests have been fixed and a new quest related to The Witcher series published on Netflix has been added to the game. In addition to all this, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will now offer cross-progression support.
